Mercabarna wants to make it easier for Food Unit firms to access international markets. To that end it has implemented the “Mercabarna Export” cluster, an initiative which, through collaboration and the establishment of synergies between companies, organisations and institutions, will help them export more and in a better way.
Mercabarna is currently in the process of creating its own brand culture with the capacity to effectively communicate the values of the Food Unit, that is to say, the values that identify it and set it apart from the rest. So far this process has already produced one tangible element: the new Mercabarna logo.
The Seafood Barcelona Trade Fair will be held once again on 22-24 October at the Gran Vía de la Fira congress centre in Barcelona, following a first edition which surpassed all expectations in terms of numbers of visitors. This year’s goal is to continue to establish the event as an important place for professionals in the fish and seafood sector in southern Europe and the Maghreb to meet and do business.
