The Fruit Logistica fair, held in Berlin each year, is the most important meeting point for fruit and vegetable professionals from around the world. This is shown by figures such as the nearly 2,500 exhibitors and the 58,000-plus visitors from 130 countries at last year’s event.

Continuing with the strategy of boosting the international activity of the estate’s firms, Mercabarna has undertaken to be present at this year’s fair, to be held from 5 to 7 February, with a joint stand along with the Port of Barcelona and Grimaldi Lines.

The stand will be used to promote Mercabarna among professionals as a major distribution platform for fresh food from southern Europe. It will also be a meeting place for the Mercabarna businesses that attend, both the dozen fruit and vegetable sector companies that will take part as exhibitors and those who will attend as visitors. The “Mercabarna Export” cluster will organise a series of B2B sales meetings at the fair between estate companies and potential international customers.
