On 6 April, some 300 florists turned out at Mercabarna-flor to find out the latest trends in flower arrangements for the St George’s Day and Mother’s Day campaigns. Throughout a dynamic, two-hour demonstration, Rosa Valls and her team presented compositions packed with creativity and advocated the added value that the florist has to include in each composition, particularly in these hard times. Following the main event, the presentation of arrangements continued at different Mercabarna-flor wholesale stalls, thus revealing the new trends and developments placed at the customers’ disposal for these campaigns.

The demonstrations also set the scene for the Wholesale Business Association (AEM) to present the Market’s new online shopping platform, an innovative system that goes into effect this May, and which will enable sector professionals to acquire the products from Mercabarna-flor companies on the Internet.
